Description:

1991 Cadillac Brougham

After 6.5 years, I'm having to let my weekend toy go. This 1991 Cadillac Brougham has a 5.0L V8 (305) engine, with a 200r4 transmission, currently just over 76k miles on the odometer. I purchased it in January of 2011 with 58k miles on it. It has been garaged stored since I owned it, aside from now since I moved it to an enclosed storage unit last month. I drove it on weekends or on leisure road trips.
Interior:
-The interior is in wonderful shape, aside from some wear on the driver's seat, and a touch of wear on the front passenger seat.
-Center console has a small crack on the leather top. There is also a small section of the carpet on the passenger side floorboard that has separated from the trim, so it looks a bit frayed in my opinion.
-Power options all around, all work. Power seats, windows, mirrors, locks, power closing trunk.
-Radio does not work (has never worked since I owned it), but I did not want to replace with aftermarket.
-Original, unused spare in the trunk. Cadillac floor mat in the trunk as well.
-A/C is cold, heat is hot. Original R12 A/C compressor was replaced in 2011, was converted to R134 after that time.
-Original owner's manual, business card from salesperson who sold the car, and other assorted pamphlets (for roadside assistance, tires, etc) in glove box.
-Automatic headlights
-Cigarette lighter charging ports in both rear doors, and the one in the dashboard all work.
-Windshield washer fluid system does not currently work.
-Windshield was replaced sometime before my ownership, as it is not original.
-Sun visor mirror lights work.
Exterior:
-The vinyl top is still intact, but does have small cracks/breaks in it. I assume it is original, and it still looks decent from a distance.
-Paint is still shiny and looks wonderful, especially when washed and waxed.
-Hood has a small bubble spot starting on it, approximately the size of a dime.
-One ding on front passenger door. No paint missing, but noticeable when looking for the nice flowing surface of the door.
-Fender extensions on the rear are missing. I never got around to getting them replaced unfortunately. This includes the small panel directly below the license plate on top of the rear bumper.
-Lower plastic body panels (silver parts) on the car are somewhat faded, although all are still intact and present.
-Right rear fender has a scratch spot on it where the original owner hit their garage (this is what I was told) and backed into something. This lower body panel (silver part) is no longer completely attached because of this incident. It has remained that way for 6+ years with me without issue.
-All wheel covers are attached and intact. One has some curb rash on it.
Drivetrain:
-5.0L V8 (TBI 305) engine mated to 200r4 transmission
-Engine runs great, gets good fuel mileage for such a large vehicle, especially on the highway.
-Water pump replaced in 2014
-A/C Compressor replaced in 2011
-Transmission pump replaced in 2011
-Oil changed regularly with Castrol conventional 10w30 and NAPA select filters. Have partial case of filters to go with car.
-Muffler replaced in 2011
-Blower motor replaced in 2012
-Parking brake automatic release has never worked. I just have always pressed the manual button beneath the dash.
It still runs and floats down the road just like a Cadillac of this generation should, and hope this one goes to a good home. It's getting harder and harder to find ones this nice and affordable.
It is 26 years old, so only requires the safety inspection, no emissions testing.
