1967 Buick Riviera
I was going for a 1970s Yuma Arizona boulevard cruiser, owrider look. Its time for someone else to finish off and enjoy this machine. This is a mild custom that can be driven as is or finished off. I started with a low mileage single respray car with no previous accidents or big issues. Odometer says 46k...based on condition i would believe it to be 146k. Body is VERY straight. No rust holes. Doors do NOT sag and shut very well. emblems are shaved. Body has been sprayed in base coat only. Trunk and engine compartment are original and need work to be presentable. Doors and trunk have new surround seals. All original glass. New power window motors. Driver door track needs dialed in but does function. Engine is original 430 with plenty of power and does not smoke. Trans leaks a bit and functions well. Exhaust is dual with bellflower tips. Interior is 95% new and looks great. Black carpet, ew seafaom green custom upholstery. New white headliner. Door panels have been revamped but still need finished; hardware and some time. Dash pad is covered to match. Looks great overal. Dash area around radio and center console are pretty thrashed and need attention or replaced. Windshield is original and shows interior moisture build up at the bottom lower corners. The Riv rolls on old school 15" reversed and staggered supremes. Stance is VERY low...not for the novice lowered car driver. Cut coils in front and dropped pig tail coils in the back...no air bags. California title is cleanand registration is "non op". Restored original black plates also. The latest issue of Lowrider magazine shows a Riv with a very similar look.
