MORE PHOTOS WILL BE ADDED TOMORROW EVENING.
For your consideration is an early 1953 Austin Healey BN1 which belonged to my father. This BN1 is originally black/black exterior with red interior, in my opinion the best color combo available. An original California car, it is solid throughout and would make a good basis for restoration. Having not spent much time on the road, the frame rails, outriggers, floors, rockers, and jack points are solid. It's been indoors for at least the last 40years and show little to no rust throughout other than light scale.
At some point during it's brief stint on the road, the owner of this Healey decided to install a rebuilt Buick V-6/auto trans for an unknown reason. He did not finish. The things people used to do... Original front and rear cowl, fenders, doors in great condition. Aluminum boot lid (appears original) and aluminum bonnet (not original - body #3183). Modified foot wells and original motor mounts have been taken out*. This is a great car to restore back to original or to modify into a nasty boy.
*Note: I have an early 4cyl Healey motor, trans, as well as correct motor mounts to restore this to original not included in the sale.
Please use pictures to determine condition. I am not an expert in these vehicles and I offer no warranties expressed or implied. I would like to see this vehicle back on the road one day. A new home purchase forces the sale of this rare color combo BN1.
Condition: Please see photos. This Healey will be an excellent basis for restoration. Rust free other than light scale. The geometry appears straight but I can not guarantee it's accuracy. I encourage inspection and I will be happy to answer any and all questions. Overseas buyers please contact me with any questions.
THE LAST PIC IS FOR REFERENCE ONLY of a restored example of this vehicle.
