1969 AMC AMX

Need a winter project? Here is a well optioned AMC AMX that will fit the bill. I have not owned the car for a long so don't know the whole history. It will need a full restoration, ome assembly required! The color is butternut beige with black stripe, aint code 77a. Car was originally sold according to the dealer name plate at Eddie Cordes in Lawton Oklahoma. This is a solid car, ot a snow belt rust bucket. Surface rust only except for the front under radiator cross member. This has arust hole. I presume from someone yanking on it, oing damage, hen never having it fixed. Otherwise I can only see surface rust on the entire car. It has a 390 that was rebuilt about 8 years ago to my understanding. Tinted/shaded windshield. Other glass is tinted except the passenger door glass as the door has been replaced at some time. Brown leather trim code is 936L.

The options that Isee are automatic trans, 90, eather, ilt wheel, ower steering, ower disc brakes, lectric wipers, emote lh mirror, lock, m radio, ir conditioning, agnum 500 wheels, win grip, ear bumper guards, inted glass.

Front bumper nice shape, ut not perfect. Grille does not appear to have any cracks or breaks. Under radiator support has a rust hole from previous damage. Original tung sol headlamps. Engine and automatic trans are mounted in the car. Engine block, eads, ntake, amper (high performance BHJ), il pan, ront timing cover (new I believe), uel pump are assembled. Exhaust manifolds, arb, ngine fan, lternator, /c pump, tarter, istributor (there are two for some reason), ulleys, ir cleaner, oil, xtra timing cover, isc brackets are included, oose with the car. The hood has underside surface rust, weeked slightly at the nose. Front hood trim is bent. There is a tiny hole in the upper skin the size of, nd shaped like, small fingernail. The rh fender is rolledvery slightly front and back of the wheel, nly minor surface rust. LH fender appears to have had some minor repair. The rh quarter has had a repair above the AMX circle about the size of a hand. I presume something fell on it or was hit with a fist. This is a southern SURFACE RUST ONLY car. No big holes in the trunk and other rust that these cars were prone to have. As is evident from a southern car the seats are baked crispy and will need recovering. The car comes with a NEW black carpet set. Not sure why black as it came with brown. The door pads for some reason are silver and would need to be changed back to brown to be correct. The car can be sold locally, reserve the right to end auction early.

I have another 1969 parts car that will be on a separate auction. That one has the usual rust issues.

Paypal deposit at end of auction. Car needs to bepicked up shortly as I haveno inside storage. I can be reachedfor questions after 6 pm and before 10 pm CST at 6053380148
