1973 Alfa Romeo Spider

I bought this car over a year and a half ago. It drove great but had an oil consumption issue. Since then I have overhauled the engine. I replaced the pistons. The pistons have been balanced to within .1 gram of each other and the piston rings were replaced with new. Liners have been honed and are within specs. The valves were all removed and polished and the valve stem seals replaced. All engine gaskets and seals were replaced. There are only 100 miles on the engine since this work was done within the last 6 months. The front and rear suspension has been overhauled and poly bushings where installed in the trailing arms as well as the caster bushings. All 'A' arm front suspension bushings are now new. Heater hoses were also replaced. The WEBER carburetors were just overhauled and work perfect. Starts easily and idles great. Pulls strong and handles very well. Oil and filter changed as well as the transmission and differential gear oil changed. This car has Koni shocks and competition springs. The rear end is 4.55 ratio and is limited slip. Transmission shifts smooth so there is NO grinding in shifts. The steel wheels have been replaced with 5 spoke alloy wheels.
I am selling this car because I am retiring from working on Alfas for the past 42 years.
The problems with this car is the cracks on the top of the dash. I currently have a cloth dash cover on it but plastic dash caps are available from Centerline International auto parts if you want to change it. The seats in the car are newer and the wrong color. Blue cars came with dark blood read seats.
Bid with confidence that you will get a wonderful car that looks wonderful.
