I am a Volvo enthusiast and collector and a friend has asked me to help them sell their beautiful 1982 Volvo 244 Turbo.
This is a really nice opportunity to a acquire a rare Volvo that has been in the same family since new, spending time in Virginia (where it was purchased), California, Florida and now back in Virginia. The current owners are getting ready to retire and would love to see their Volvo go to another enthusiast.
For Volvo fans, this is one of the rare ones to have... an early 240 series car with the turbo and the manual/overdrive transmission. The low 122k miles are original and accurate and the odometer/speedometer is functioning. This is a rust free southern car that has spent its entire life inside a garage and it shows. A fresh silver respray a few years ago has it looking like new- even nicer in person. It's an excellent paint job with only a couple of very small imperfections under the paint on the bottom of the rear drivers quarter panel.
The interior is A+... all stock/original blue seats with no cracks or noticeable wear. The headliner is excellent. The carpet is very good. There's a blue dash cap with no cracks. All instrumentation is functioning except for a sometimes wonky oil pressure monitor.

Mechanically the car starts, runs and drives well. The clutch feels good. Tires are fine for around town but will need to be replaced soon if planning to do a lot of highway driving. The car rides on original Volvo 240 Turbo 15" "Virgo" wheels. The last oil change was in November 2022 with less than a few hundred miles since. The car has a Virginia state inspection sticker that expires August 2023.
