I purchased this car April 17, 015. I won it on auction on Ebay, rom an Oregon State Trooper. The auction description stated as follows...
Previous OWNER says: "I've had this car for 2 1/2 years, nd have completed extensive repairs to include head gasket replacement, ebuilt head, ew water pump, hermostat, oses, elts, uel pump, uel pump relay, uel filter, park plugs and wires, ngine and transmission mounts, hocks & struts, indshield wiper motor and other minor repairs/maintenance such as brakes, luid changes, tc. New rear tires last August-2014. Odometer stopped at 221,000K and change, ot sure how many actual, ut she hadn't put more than 6-8K on it. It has been a solid daily driver and has been perfect for her teenage daughter.

Front car seats are worn, eed seat covers. As with a lot of Volvo 240's, he heater works, ut is noisy. Driver's door & Passenger doors stick, eed a little WD-40.
I love my car, ut due to health issues, nd a prolonged hospital stay, need to sell this and get an automatic to drive.
Picture of passenger side front door...this door is open in picture, ut normally it closes and locks...like I said, oth front doors need WD-4o.
Wagon has the extra seat in the rear part of the wagon. Car runs well, solid car.
Cars front windshield seal needs replacing, forgot to mention this before. I've put plastic and duct tape over the seal issue, nbsp;The interior needs cleaning, ampness because of the seal issue. Buying a moisture canister to suck out the dampness.
Car needs someone that wants a fixer upper, nd willing to put work into it, o install parts, nd clean it up. Drives great, great deal. PROJECT CAR, rice is firm. This car NEEDS someone that knows how to fix things.
