Up for sale is a very clean, ne owner1973 Volvo 144E sedan. The car was bought new in 1973 in Watertown CT, nd will be sold with the Original cleartitle from 1973! The car was garaged its entire life, ery solid example of an early east coast Volvo. There is no rust underneath the car, he spare tire carriers and trunk are all solid. rockers and inner doors are all solid as well. the only spots on the car that are starting to bubble areright behind the passenger side rear fender, nd underneath the driver side headlight. The car has an older repaint that is very presentable in the original color. interior is inexcellent shape the carpetin the front/ back is spotlessandoriginalfloor mats. it also comes with an extra set of winter mats. The door panels are a beautiful red alligator viny, nd the seats are a cloth red with vinyl backs. The seats front and rearhave no rips or tears, he cloth is however slightly sun faded.headliner and sun visors are in good shape no sagging. all windows roll up and down. The dash has some cracks, nstrument cluster and radio are all intactbut do not work. The odometer reads 48, 11 and does not work, can not confirm if this is the actually mileage. The car had sat since2001, helast inspection sticker was from Dec. 2001.so I am sure the gear that runs the odometerbroke when the car was moved again.Headlights and taillights do work, he tires still have good tread and seem to be originals! The Engine does ru, tarts right up but the idle is very sporadic and drops some oil when parked. It has new plugs, ires, ap and rotor.The fuelpump has been replaced and the tank has been cleaned. The car does move under its own power and stops, he clutch engages smoothly, ut it will need more to be road worthy. It is fuel injected so I am sure theinjectors may need to be cleaned. The car comes with all the original owner manuals and accessories manual, nd two sets of keys. This is a great collectable car that is very solid.I personally have never seen another one.
