This classic 1985 Volkswagen Vanagon has a rich history and plenty of character! Originally owned by my grandparents in San Francisco, this beloved van has been in my care for the past 10 years. It’s seen a lot of love and work, and while it’s now running better than ever, it’s time for me to pass it on to its next adventure-ready owner. Key Features & Recent Upgrades: Engine: Brand new GoWesty Rebuilt Engine 2200cc installed in December 2023. The engine is fully broken in, with only 11,850 miles on it. Interior: Currently in mid-remodel—there is no refrigerator installed, leaving space for your customization. I haven't used the water tank or the exterior plug-ins but as far as I know, it should all be in working order. I also haven't refilled the propane tank since it ran out but it should also be in good working order as far as I know! Maintenance: All major mechanical work is up-to-date. I have receipts and documentation for all work done in the past three years. My trusted mechanic knows this Vanagon inside and out. Additional Information: With the new engine, I recommend using high-quality gasoline and synthetic 10W60 oil to keep it running smoothly.
