Vehicle DetailsOwn this beautiful low mile Westfalia for 8 years. I have purchased another van, a 1995 Volkswagen EuroVan camper and don't have a use for two of them. I'm looking for a new home for this 1985 Westy.
Incredibly low mileage shows everywhere on the vehicle. All the decals are still in place all the nickel plating is still on the hardware and there is hardly a Nick or a scratch on the interior. Please take a look at the pictures. Everything works including the three-way propane - 12 volt - 110 volt refrigerator, the sink, the air conditioning unit, the factory radio,all the lights all the beds are clean with no wear or tear. Included are two swivel tables and an awning that can be attached to the side of the van.
The engine runs strong and the transmission shifts great. I've taken this van on several trips out of state to Indiana and West virginia. I have personally put over 4,000 miles on it and it is ready to go. You can fly into Columbus and drive her home.
Recent Maintenance and Service includes a new water pump, new fuel injectors, new spark plug wires and distributor cap, new 10 ply heavy duty van tires and new brakes.
The van is titled in my name. It is designated as rebuilt but has not been in an accident. Check the Carfax. The previous owner told me that he got it from an estate where it had sat for a long time and was disposed of by the estate after a family member's death.
The underside of the van is an incredible condition with no signs of rust or having rust. Is extremely clean and under my ownership has only been driven on the nicest of days.
A true pleasure to drive and camp in this vintage Volkswagen. It turns heads everywhere I take it.
