I am selling my shop's all electric 72 beetle convertible. The restoration was completed on the car in 2019 and has been driven to shows and events since then so there is car in not perfect but in great shape overall. The car was disassembled when painted in 2018 and has very little rust anyway on the body. A new interior and wiring harness was installed after returning for paint shop in 2019. The interior has German square weave carpet, and a two tone black and blue vinyl seats and door panels. All body rubber was replaced at this time. It originally had a DC motor and drive but has been upgraded to a AC Hyper 9 in 2024. The upgrade includes a Net Gain display which has 3 driving profiles for different levels of regen. The battery pack is LiFePO4 and is 22 Kw for a driving range of 80 miles on the highway or 120 miles around town. The charger is 3,3 Kw and uses a standard J1772 plug. The motor delivers 160 ft-lbs of torque and 120 peak HP. The 4 speed transmission is built to handle the power. The clutch is 2800 lb stage 3 competition clutch and pressure plate. This car is a lot of fun to drive and will fool a lot of people with it's power and acceleration.
