This 1963 Volkswagen Beetle that underwent a three-year refurbishment that consisted of refinishing the

exterior in blue and installing a Subaru 2.5-liter EJ25 flat-four that is equipped with a Turbonetics turbocharger, a water-to-air intercooler with custom-fabricated piping, a TiAL blow-off valve, Outback-branded fuel rails, a Malory fuel pressure regulator, and a COBB Tuning electronic boost control solenoid. The car is further equipped with a sliding canvas sunroof, an elevated decklid, quarter windows with NACA ducts, 15" wide-five wheels, four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes, a lowered suspension with adjustable rear A-arms, and a four-speed manual six-rib transaxle with a locked differential. The cabin has been fitted with a roll cage, NRG Innovations racing seats, Crow Enterprizes harnesses, an EMPI shifter, and an Auto Gage tachometer with a shift light.The body was removed from the chassis and media-blasted before a repaint in World Rally Blue Pearl according to the seller. The bumpers have been removed, and the quarter windows have been replaced with acrylic panels that have NACA ducts for cooling the radiator. Other exterior details include a black sliding canvas sunroof, a left-side mirror, and aftermarket headlights. The turn signals are inoperative.Black-finished 15" wide-five wheels are mounted with 155/60 Continental ContiProContact tires up front and 205/50 Toyo Proxes R888R rubber out back. Braking is handled by six- and two-piston Wilwood calipers fitted over cross-drilled rotors all around.A pair of NRG Innovations racing seats are trimmed in black cloth with red stitching and have provisions for Crow Enterprizes four-point harnesses. A bolt-in roll cage has been installed along with bright metal door panels, an EMPI shifter, and a CB Performance Turbo Throttle pedal assembly. Black carpets line the front footwells while Dynamat sound-deadening material has been added to the rear bulkhead. The battery and ECU are located behind the seats.The microsuede-wrapped NRG steering wheel is mounted to a quick-release hub and fronts a 90-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge. An Auto Gage 10k-rpm tachometer with a shift light is fastened below the dash and sits adjacent to a

temperature gauge. The five-digit odometer shows zero miles, and total mileage is aprox 800 miles the oem odometer is operated off of the stock drum brakes that no longer exist so the cars odometer is not operable. No radio is present.Portions of the rear valance and fenders have been cut away, and the decklid striker has been extended to provide clearance for the turbocharged Subaru

2.5-liter EJ25 flat-four. The engine is equipped with a Cosworth-prepped semi-closed-deck block, JDM STi EJ20 cylinder heads, and a forged crankshaft and connecting rods. A water-to-air intercooler has been added along with an aftermarket flex-fuel ethanol content sensor. An oil change was most recently performed in July 2023. The six-rib four-speed "bus box" manual transaxle is equipped with planetary gears and a locked differential. The suspension has been lowered and fitted with adjustable rear A-arms.
