There are NO transmission issues. The clutch is also in good shape. It works and feels great. It was replaced within the past year. The brakes function properly. The brakes stop on time and feel good. The entire brake system is in very good condition. The suspension is also very good on the car. The steering feels great when turning corners! The windows roll up and down. The original radio works very well and gets great signal! The blinkers work. The wipers work. The climate control works. Everything works well! COSMETIC Cosmetically the VW looks good but needs some cosmetic work in some spots. Whichis very common on VWs of this era. The interior is in really good shape. The seats are in great shape. They look and feel great. The carpet is in good shape. all other upholstery looks good. The outside, however,shows its age. The paint looks great and shiny! But it has its dings throughout the outside. It also has minor surface rust throughout the outside. (once again very common on these cars) But it is still a charmerand turns heads. MECHANICAL/ELECTRCIAL Mechanically the VW is in amazing shape. It runs and drives great. It starts up even on the coldest days with NO issues. It drives down the road very smooth and has a nice ride.
the engine is in very good shape all aroundit runs very good. and has good compression.the engine is mechanically sound.
In the past year it has had some general Maintenace to keep it being in reliable shape. Including a full tune up. Oil change and fluid replacements. A new fuel pump. Some new belts. And minor things.
All other accessories work great as well.
