I have owned this Ghia for over 30 years and I never thought this day would come

Description:

1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

I never thought I would sell this car as I have had it since 1993. I drove it until 1999 and it sat untouched until 2018. During this time it deteriorated as it sat under a cover. In 2018, I removed body and stripped it down to tube. I had body sandblasted a well as the tube. I replaced the pans and all attached components. I sealed upper and lower chassis so no rust can penetrate. I installed new brakes, new engine, installed an auto stick unit, new front end components, new tires and new wheels, I primed and sprayed body and installed a custom fiberglass front nose. After install of nose, I decided to remove it and repair addition hidden body damage that has been there since the 90s. That is where the project has stopped. Currently the body is only sitting on the chassis for transport. This ghia will need to be finished. Here is more info:

NEW ENGINE-0 MILES. Completely overhauled. Never been fired other than final test on bench.
Autostick and Engine came from a 74 Donor Ghia.
What you see is what you get. Will need work and additional parts to complete. No interior parts
I have invested over 10k and have over 100 photos documenting process up to this point.
This has been my baby for 30 years and I am only selling because I can't fathom it sitting for another long period of time and I hope someone will finish it.
Car will be sold with a South Carolina Bill of Sale due to age. Yes, the title was in my name but after 30 years I have no idea where it is.

Please look at all pics before bidding. The doors, hood, deck etc are in the car and will go with it.
This would be an amazing find for someone with a decent body who wants a superb chassis!
NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. YOU ARE BIDDING ON A PROJECT THAT NEEDS FINISHING.
Good luck!
Will deliver for additional fee on open trailer once vehicle is paid in full.
Pics to be loaded shortly
