Beetle 1972The engine was 1500cc originally, today it is 1600cc. Modified painting, in black, with matte varnish. Custom interior. RECARO front seats. Sound system, with classic PIONEER TS 6985 on the back cover and PIONEER 10'' subwoofer under the back cover, with power module and PIONEER CD Player. The headlights are EMPI, with HELLA BLACK fog lights. Lowered rear suspension. Suspension lowered at the front, with inverted axle sleeve and ratchet for height adjustment. 3-point seat belt. Green glasses. Electric all new with wiring organized. Sports exhaust. 14-inch wheels with custom hub cap support. Instrument panel with RPM, oil pressure and voltmeter. EMPI door openers, door handles and handles.I'm Brazilian, the car just arrived from Brazil in the USA. It's been mine since 2015. Since I bought this car I've driven about 4500 km. It's a weekend car, for occasional use. When I bought it the engine broke down. I made a new 1600cc engine, which is still in the car today and very healthy. It has a wonderful snore. In 2018 I opened the gearbox, and it was all overhauled. The steering box is also new. The brakes are new. New clutch. EMPI quick shift lever, with black 8 pool ball. The suspension and shock absorbers are new. New front tires and 80% rubber at the rear. The spare tire is unused. Interior with nothing torn, frayed or broken. The sound system is great, without being overdone. The doors close very easily and smoothly. The vehicle is full of cool details and EMPI accessories. It is a car that has excellent mechanics in general, it has an appearance that draws attention wherever it goes, including VW meetings. It's really nice and fun to drive. It has always been very well taken care of.The car is perfect, just fill up and drive. It even has new oil in the engine. It has a small detail or another in the painting, as it is not a zero km car. After being painted in 2017 it was used, always with zeal, but it was. It is a 51 year old vehicle. No rust anywhere, no rot. This beetle is extremely solid and lined up. No low balls. Price OBO.
