Many cars at the moment. If it doesn’t sell I may just pull the trigger. It’s been at my shop for a few weeks and it’s growing on me in a big way. By the way if the winner needs to store it until transport thats no issue at all. I have a gated lot with security.
My neighbors wife is a school teacher and bought this from a freind that is also a teacher but restores old VW Westis on his free time. He has put thousands and thousands into this VW to keep it road worthy and travel worthy. The receipts for all the work are included with the VW and some are in the photos below. I went through them and this VW drivetrain was almost fully restored all done by professionals . The exterior is all original and has a few dents there and here all shown in the photos, but the paint is original single stage with zero repaints. I happen to own a Bodyshop and will give a discounted rate if the winning bidder decides he wants them repaired. I lived next door to the VW and I never really noticed them until I took the photos.
As far as I know everything works as it it should. Water, fridge and stove all work. The pop up top has many new parts and it works. I drove the vw for about 45-60 miles and I feel like this VW would make a commuter no problem. The color combo is great I think and the original single stage paint is awesom.

The following terms of sale apply to all of our online sales.
Payment Methods
Cash (in person), certified check from the following banks only; WellsfArgo,B of A,Chase, or US bank., bank transfers. All funds must be in US dollars only. Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid.
Deposit
Buyer must contact us within 24 hours of accepted offer, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of listing’s end to secure the vehicle and is non refundable.
Payment of Balance Due
The remainder is due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 7 days. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell it otherwise. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.
Additional Fees and Taxes
Oregon is a Sales Tax Free State. Meaning we do not charge sales Tax on any items. Also in Oregon the plates and tags stay with the car unless they are custom,veterans or forever plates. Then they will not be included.
Shipping
The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges unless otherwise documented on the sales agreement. We will assist the buyer with finding a shipping company. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company.

Please be advised that used vehicles will have typical scratches and dings inherent for their year and mechanical parts are subject to fail. I welcomes and recommends a buyer's inspection. If you plan to have a buyers inspection, please make sure you inspect the vehicle prior to the auction ending. Buyer is responsible for any inspection charges and fees.

Placing a Bid

Bid Retractions

Successful Bidder
The winning bidder will be contacted via email after the auction closes or he/she must contact Hanksters Hot Rods within 24 hours to proceed with payment and delivery arrangements.
Non-Paying Bidder
If the deposit is not received within 24 hours of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within 7 days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer.
