1973 Volkswagen Thing
This is a very unique Volkswagen Thing that is ready to be enjoyed as it is. The engine is nice and strong, turns on easily, and handles nicely. In the last few years I have replaced the top with a new one from the Thing Shop. The rims and tires are about a year old and still very nice. I left the body rough. it has rust, I simply clear coated over it and love the look. I installed underglo lights for fun. The fuel gauge and speedo do not work. It comes with a custom built speaker box and system that THUMPS HARD! When I got the car it came with the original title out of New Mexico, I now have a clean California title in my name. This is a car that starts conversations everywhere I take it, quick trips to the gas station end up being 30 minute conversations, which I love. This is a great car with lots of personality as it sits. If you are looking for a mint example, this is not it. It is kinda like dating, when you see something you like, you know!
