1984 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon.179,000 miles excellent condition asking 15,750 I have owned for 15yrs. i have put over 15,000 in restoring the mechanical, i was going to restore the exterior next, then it would be sold for 35,000 or more.
Engine, transmission, clutch, axles, exhaust system, radiator, starter and ignition all rebuilt at 156,700 miles. All done by professional VW shop using gowesty parts, engine upgraded to 2.1.
All rods and connection, brakes, 15 in gowesty rims, Bilstein shocks, and 7ply truck tire done at 177,000 miles. Tires look new still, also replaced front grill with S. African dual round light.
Body in excellent condition wheel wells and floor pans very clean some rust on bottom driver side rocker panel by propane tank. Very typical, treated with rust stop and applied rust oleum to stop rust. Can see original paint in wheel well pic I sprayed undercoating when I bought 15YRS ago just starting to wear off.Interior in good condition put carpet, headliner, 1000watt phoenix gold/MB quart stereo system with clarion touch screen DVD indash. 1000watt inverter, and charging inverter for batteries via plug or solar kit, not installed. Rubber mattes throughout, dual battery system with car alarm.excellent running condition, good exterior, loves the open road and is ready for long trip or van life. has been stored in garage for 15 yrs i have owned.
