1984' Volkswagen Westfalia Camper, (VW Vanagon, Type 2 (T3) Transporter).
My best friend bought this VW Westy new, in Portland Oregon at their annual RV show. I purchased it it just a couple of years ago from their estate upon her passing away hoping that I would use it, which I am not. I love it, but it's time to let her go.
Having spent its entire life in the high desert of central Oregon, this is a clean, virtually no rust original vehicle. It runs and drives great, starting right up. It’s ready to drive to its new home now. I can help with shipping after you arrange it if needed or requested by you.
This Westfalia was manufactured in 09/1983’ having 211K miles on the odometer. The engine is the 1.9 Liter (1913 cc, 83 bhp) (Serial # DH…) this is the water-cooled (or "Wasserboxer") engine used for the 1983 to 1985 models, and I believe recently rebuilt, I have a box of historical receipts. This is the fuel injection system known as "Digijet" (Digital Jet-Tronic), (from Wikipedia, 8/19/2020).

This Westfalia is at my home in dry, sunny Klamath Falls, Oregon, home of Crater Lake National Park, where I have the title to this Westfalia in my hand. This vehicle is for sale locally. Thanks for your understanding!
The positive, (I'm sure there is a lot more):•This Westfalia is a 36/37-years old vehicle, looking and driving great for any vehicle of this age!•Original owner’s manuals AND the original Monroney window sticker will be included•I have a full set of 4, new, never mounted, correct heavy-ply tires that I ordered but have not been installed.•I think I have every possible maintenance and repair receipt since new, a small box full, including recent engine and heads•This is a high-dessert, central Oregon vehicle, coming from a dry climate, without rust issues•Kitchen unit may never have been use, the fridge works on both AC and LPG and the Stove lights right up, it's never been used•I do not think there has ever been water in the fresh-water tank•It has a very interesting extra seat and storage compartment by sliding door, this was in this Westfalia when purchased new•Both beds are in very good condition•This was built with the optional additional rear under seat heater•Fresh synthetic oil change and coolant
The negative, (of course, this may not be all):•Trip-meter not functioning, (a very common VW Vanagon issue)•Engine temperature gauge is not working• The body has what I believe is the original paint, except for a small spot on the right front passenger door. It has a few dings, no real damage, (see photos)•Outside camping connections need to be replaced•The plastic sink drink is broken from age•The top canvas has the usual front l tear/damage from the locking latch•There are some minor dents etc., especially around fender wells, (see photos)•Driver’s seat upholstery is bad•Extra rear seat upholstery is bad•Door keys and locking gas cap are…funky, I have a new non-locking cap
