1970 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

This 1970 VW Beetle Automatic Stickshift has an original odometer reading of just under 19,490 miles!!!!! With one re-sprayin its original well matched L 19 Yukon Yellow. Its a near perfect specimenof VW's Automatic Stickshift technology that'sbeen very well maintained. Both the engine and transmission are original to the vehicle and have VW maintained service records up to 12,000 miles. The car was purchased new from Autohaus-Jackson Inc. in Jackson Michigan on November 29, 1969. It remained in Michigan up until the grandson of the original owner sold it. It left Michigan for Delaware in 2008 where it stayed garaged and only about 250 miles were addedthe original milage. There are 2 small areas with issues, the first being under the front hood just below the windshield along where the hood seal is attached. And the second on the drivers side bottom of the heater channel just past the running board.Both are visiblein the photos. The respray is a well matched L 19 Yukon Yellow but shows signs of overspray along the door jambs. The front and rear bumpers have been changed and are a lesser qualityre-production that are starting to show surface rust. It is currently tagged and registeredwith a clean Delaware title.
