We were preparing this van for an awesome road trip down to Florida, but plans have shifted. The 2.0 engine has been regularly maintained and just had a fresh tune up. In an effort to get it ready to go, lots of recent work has been done.

--Valve adjustment, new plugs, new wires, new points, condenser, cap and rotor.

--Fresh oil change with new filter using 20/50 Valvoline oil.

--New battery.

--New LT Tires and New Brakes all the way around.

--New drums in back, new pads, rotors and calipers in the front.

It is running like a top!

New fuel filter and more importantly it has new fuel lines in the engine bay. (Safety is Key)

It is rare to find a tin-top camper. In April of 1982 this Vanagon was made in Germany, then shipped directly to Automotive Services, Inc. of Vancouver, Washington. They added the sunroof and camper package: water tank, sink, counter space, refrigerator, cabinets, Z-bed, interior lighting and shore power hookup. All of the items you need for super comfortable camping. ASI is renowned for their impeccable work throughout the VW world.

It has a lot of counter space with the fold out shelf and plenty of storage drawers and cabinets. It has a nice refrigerator and a sink on board with a water tank. The interior is very roomy, clean and comfortable.

This classic camper still has it's original manuals and brochures.

JVC Stereo has AM/FM/CD and Bluetooth for hands free communication and music streaming.

The glass is all good, including the factory sunroof that does not leak.

The rear seat folds down to make for a very comfortable full size bed.

Block out the light with the factory curtains.

The headliner is in great shape reflecting the quality of care this vehicle has had.

This hardtop camper includes a very well built, heavy duty, whole rooftop rack.

It is attached very well and is built to hold whatever you chooser to carry with you. Ladder hooks nicely into drain channel to make packing cargo a breeze.

Nice to have an additional room for special occasions and whole family campouts.

The use of space inside is extremely well thought out and functional.

The doors latch well, windows roll up and down and all of the locks work nicely with the key.

Original paint looks great and it shines, but has been touched up in a couple spots.

It has nice pin striping and "surfing the high tension" inscribed on the driver's door.

It is a very dependable Campmobile and looks fantastic for a forty year old vehicle.

It gets waves, peace signs & compliments wherever it goes!
