1972 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

1972 Volkswagen Super BeetleThe car is in fair condition and it runs and drives (see video at the end of the description). I've owned the car for about 2 years. I bought it because I've always liked beetles and my son and I could fix up together. However, we both lost interest in it due to many other projects we are working on. It would be super cute all restored! Clear California title.

New brakes shoes, turned drums and new flexible brake lines.
New wiring harness.
Tune-up (cap, router, wires, plugs, and coil).
Oil change w/30 weight.Pans are in good shape.
Items that need work:There is an oil leak that drips on the exhaust manifold; smokes a bit.Brakes are a bit spongy.Some surface rust on the body.The paint is a bit faded. Yellow is probably not the original color.Parking brake needs adjustment.Fresh air box is not working. The motor is seized and the fan (squirrel cage) is missing.Doesn't track well at highway speeds. Needs front end workDoesn't like to idle, especially when warm.Radio is missing.Headliner is torn in multiple places.Sunroof operational but leaks.Sometimes there is the smell of gas in the cabin.
