Description:

1964 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

1964 Volkswagen bug. I have owned it since 2014. When I bought it, most of the work was already done to it. Here are some features of the car. The car allegedly came from California as per the previous owner.
- 1835cc engine (as per previous owner, estimated 12,000 miles on it)- Real Porsche Fuchs wheels- Roof rack- Adjustable / narrowed front beam- Rear lowered- Recent oil change and valve adjustment- Pans and heater channels are pretty clean. (no holes)- I will include the Pleasure Chest cooler. The Coke cooler can be included for $120 and I have other coolers we can negotiate if interested.
What it will need.- The gas pedal sticks at the floor. (there is a company that makes an upgrade for this problem)- Coil needs to be mounted (The screws vibrated out last time I drove it)- Some of the wiring will need to be addressed.- Small exhaust leak- Will need king and link pins- Battery needs replaced- One of the rims have a flat spot (pictured) could be fixed.- A few rust bubbles above the rear window (I tried to get a picture of it)This is not a complete list of things it will need. This is just what I am aware of. I would definitely go over everything on this car before using it.
In a nutshell, It is a pretty nice vw bug. Not a show car, but something to have fun with and it gets lots of attention. It starts. It runs. It stops. Would I suggest driving it a long distance tomorrow? No, but if you are up for an adventure, go for it. I have owned it for almost 5 years and it hasnt given me any real problems (For example, the alternator went out shortly after I bought it.) The last time I actually drove the car was about a year ago. 20 miles each way to Virginia Beach. No issues. I started it up about a month ago.
