This is a classic, early 1969 bay window pop top Westfalia camper. It is a reliable daily driver that has also taken a trip out of state, after receiving a full mechanical overhaul. The engine alone cost $5k in parts.
The following has been done to the bus in the last few thousand miles, all within the last 6 months using the best quality parts available from Wolfsburg West, CB Performance, Bughaus, etc.
Engine is an 1835cc thick-wall with the following, all NEW:

-Scat 69mm 4340 nitride crank, balanced
-DPR rods balanced end to end
-AA thick-wall 92mm P&C's, balanced
-Heavy weight harmonic eliminator crank pulley, balanced
-OEM VW flywheel drilled 8 dowel, balanced, chromoly gland nut
-Sachs clutch, German throw out bearing, Exedy pressure plate
-Kolbenschmidt main, rod, and cam bearings, STD
-CB bus torque camshaft
-CB chromoly push rods
-CB 1.25:1 ratio rockers
-CB chromoly head studs
-044 heads
-CB filter/oil pump
-CB single Spanish Weber 40 IDF kit
-Pertronix distributor, electronic ignition, wires
-Bosch blue coil
-Bosch regulator, generator (new not rebuilt)
