I have decided to sell this rare gem from my personal collection of VW's.Here is your chance to own a genuine top of the range Champagne edition Westfalia camper. I started buying some new parts for this daily driver.I bought some brand new front seat covers and had them professional fitted.I also ordered a brand new rear mattress bed cover (over the engine bay)as well as two brand new pop top upper bed mattress covers.I also ordered a brand new 3 window pop top roof canvas tent to replace the old one. This is included in the sale.I also fitted a set of bran new 14" stainless steel wheel trims andfitted a brand new rear bumper and included is a rear new bumper rubber insert. I will try and fit this over the next few days. I also bought a new carpet anda pair of brand new brown front door cards (from the UK vw bus company called JUST KAMPERS).I also just fitted a brand new battery. The battery tray on the passenger side is rotted and a replacement piece of metal is holding the battery in.This left Germany as being a top of the range Westfalia camper with full camping interior, factory fitted air conditioning and rare easy to drive out magic gear box transmission.The factory A C unit was removed by the previous owner but is included in the sale should you with to re connect the control unit which goes under the dashboard on late bay windows.
Its a great find and as mentioned the previous owner had this as a daily driver.Its super solid underneath. Its a good honest Camper that needs some tidying but as its so rare is worth doing. Some sellers are asking over 35K for late bay window Westfalias that are not as rare as Champagne buses.Only damage i can find is the front drivers side. It would not take much for a good bodyshop to cut out the old panel corner and replace with another panel.I had planned on keeping but decided to test the water here to see if any other vw vans would like it.The interior is all complete from what i can see - some of the wood veneer could do with being replaced. I have not tested the gas stove or water or cool boat but they are all there. Also included is the rare front cot. PLEASE NOTE as per my ad the Vw Westfalia is located in Denver within th written item description.I travel a lot with my work in the music industry so thats why its says i am in Nevada but the vw is in Denver Colorado.I will be there this wednesday to Friday.The van starts right up and drives good and shifts good through the rare auto transmission.
