I updated the photos today these were taken 3/23/2019 Up for sale is a very nice 1987 16V Volkswagen GLI Jetta. Car is pretty much stock except for weitec suspension. The vehicle runs and drives at all speeds has very cold air-conditioning, sunroof works and still has the original Recaro trophy interior. Odometer stopped about four months ago driving to Georgia Hunter Army airfield where my son is stationed. At that point there was 76xxx miles and I picked the car up and drove it home 892 miles back to NJ. Fun car great to restore or do little work and make it a daily. I currently drive it 60 miles round trip to work and home. Now for the bad the suspension is decent it is Weitec 40mm. There is a couple small holes in driver seat. There is a GT Grant steering wheel instead of stock. And car has 1992 big bumpers instead of the stock ones. Motor drives, Idles and pulls hard in all gears. I would replace the Vacuum lines and may be done before it is sold. There are a few dings and dents. NO RUST. The master cylinder is starting to leak but brakes all work as they should. Will need parking brake cable also. And shifts in all gears but a little loose.
Very fun car to drive I grew up driving MK1 and MK2 GTI's and this car brings back a little of my youth.
