1978 VW Bus Champagne "High Top" camper. This is a top-of-the-line champagne edition that was converted by Spirit Campers in Pasadena California into a high top camper when new. Was delivered to the port of Los Angeles and spent most of its life in Newport Beach California. Has been in Texas for 3 years. Runs great, drives great. Original camper equipment is present and in remarkably well preserved condition. For sleeping, the dinette converts and there are wood slats that pull out up top - thus creating TWO full size beds sleeping 4 adults. I'm 6' and can stand up in the cabin. Equipped with an A/C system, not currently connected but everything's there. The 2.0l type 4 fuel injected motor starts right up, runs well. Transmission shifts nicely and clutch is strong. Power disc brakes stop the bus well. Few rust bubbles below the windshield but otherwise very dry body. Floors and doglegs are nice. Not a show car but a very nice driver quality camper bus ready for your next adventure.
