1958 Volkswagen Panel Bus, Original RCAVictor Factory Service Vehicle, (Magazine Feature)

This beautiful pressed bumper bus was used as a service vehicle for a RCA factory television repair branch in the late 50's early 60's. Up until 1961 owners of RCA factory repair locations were able to pick their service vehicle. In 1961 Ford made a deal with RCA Victor televisions, providing service shops with Econolines. In my over two years of research I have not found any evidence of another vw bus used by RCA factory service (seen a few other tv repair buses that service RCA Victor, Zenith etc but not factory service). In order to preserve the originality of the bus we did as little as possible to the outside, repairing only structural issues and retouching logos. As for the mechanical/electrical everything has been gone through.
