1964 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

1964 Volkswagen bug sunroof model with a new engine.
This car is basically a one-owner. I bought it from my uncle who bought it when he was in college. It's never been in a serious accident.
The car has been gone through completely. It has brand new wheel bearings, brakes, and shock absorbers. It has brand new Wheels. The wheels are powder-coated. The front and rear has aftermarket suspension system components to keep it tracking right. The gas tank has been taken out flushed and cleaned with a new gas line. The motor is a fully rebuilt dual port 1776 with a 1974 Volkswagen case that has been magna-fluxed for cracks. It then had case savers installed and it was line board. All other components in the motor are brand new. It has a brand new crank, Pistons rods, and heads. The case is also drilled for full flow oil cooling. The oil runs through a cooler with fans that are mounted on top of the left side of the transaxle. The fans are thermostatically controlled and also with a manual override toggle switch to turn them on. It has a brand new carburetor. It is not the factory carburetor. It's a 2 barrel carburetor, very nice. It has a brand new factory exhaust system from Volkswagen. All the metal tin around the motor has been powder coated. The car has been rewired for 12 volt. I also have a couple of options that I've picked up over the years; one is AM FM shortwave sideband radio that was only available in Germany. It has the original radio also the steering wheel has been taken out and sent out to a company called Koch, which they fill out all the little cracks in steering wheels in older vehicles and then paint them again with a special paint. As to what it needs, it needs a new interior. It needs a new windshield, and of course it would need to be painted but the body is pretty straight. It also has the aftermarket pop-out rear windows that were a dealer option. In my life, I have built about six Volkswagens. This is my last one. I never drove it
