1972 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

Up for sale is a nice little beetle classic, (1972 was a split year, some classics and some super beetles). This bug has only 31735 original miles, and was locally owned here in PA. I bought it off a local older gentleman that was selling due to some household repairs to cover, and generally not in condition to fiddle with a beetle anymore. We drove it around on our dealer plates, (because you can't not drive a beetle if you have one) and it drove very well. It had a bit of a miss in it when we got it, but it was also sitting for several years, and we just stuck four new plugs in it and it cleared up. The tires are dry rotted and will need replaced, for that reason we recommend that it be hauled to its new home unless you are reasonably close. I have a video of it running, but couldn't get it uploaded here, I would be happy to send it you if requested. Overall this bug is clean and solid, however there are areas underneath that could use some attention, and if you are going to restore it you'll probably want to anyway. Areas that are common on bugs like where the spare tire is in the front, and body joints underneath. I did my best to show these areas in the photos listed here. The previous owner was going to replace the heater hoses, he even picked up new ones, but never put them on. We have those parts and will pass them on to the new owner, as well as four extra tires and rims, (winter treads), and the original bumpers. We didn't put tires on it because we figured the new owner might want to put their own style on. We believe the original color is red, it was since repainted black.
