Story!
This BuG found me early last year 2017. The original owner to the bug called me up and asked if I would be interested in his car that he has owned since he was a teenager. She is a numbers matching bug, it was a Euro Delivery! It has semaphores as well. So we picked up the bug in Trenton NJ where it sat since the 1980s in a garage. Sometime in the 60s he did an exterior paint job in a slightly different color. The original color is on the dash still, I think it is diamond grey.
The motor turns, the wheels are not locked up anymore, and she will need some metal work, but not much. Heat channels are solid, floors could be patched, but I would just buy full pans if it was me.
I have way too many projects in my lineup, so I must let this one go. I have the old NJ title for this bug still. Lots of paperwork and history, ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE!

Some features of the bug had to be Americanized for the US safety standards, added overrider bumpers and fender blinkers.
Overall, they do not come around like this much anymore, this is a great project that can be a beauty.
She belongs in a good home.
