1969 Volkswagen Vanagon
Meet "Hope", she's a 1969 VW Westfalia, pop top camp mobile. A great runner/driver with all the original interior components; fridge, sink, Z bed, jump-seat, tables, child cot, 110 A/C outlet. Also has radio/CD player, privacy curtains, new carpet, storage in closet, back cabinet, under jump-seat and Z bed.
All gauges, are in perfect working order, including fuel gauge, which is rare. Also all lights, blinkers, flashers, wipers work great (as seen in video).
Brand new pop-top canvas, with 3 zippered windows and new seals. All glass is perfect.
Exterior is in great condition, except for a couple battle scars. Mainly the dent in engine hatch door (see pic). Tires have 80% tread, nice wheels and hubcaps. New rubber bumper steps and front turn signal lenses.
Rust is very minimal and in typical places; battery tray and front floor boards.
Just installed a new master cylinder, gave her a fresh oil change, tune-up and valve adjustment, transmission works great.
This bus was originally purchased right here in Oregon in 1969 from Sheppard Motors in Eugene and though she's not 100% restored, she's well on her way!
