This is a 1969 VW Westfalia camper with a rare VW factory optional drive-away side tent for restoration. This is a no reserve auction and will be sold to the highest bidder. Bidding starts at $1.00 We will let the market determine the final value.

Waynesboro Auto Sales is offering this Rare 1969 barn find vw camper up for auction.This Bus has been sitting for a very long time and will need lots of tender loving care to make it road worthy again. It will need all the typical rust repair (All sheet metal is now available for these buses at reasonable cost) It has the all the normal vw rust in all the usual places (aka... the inner and outer rockers, floors, jack points, outriggers, frame rails, doglegs, nose, battery tray...ECT.) We added fresh gas and a jump pack and the engine fired right up and does run and idle quite decent for sitting so long. The brakes work but need attention before drivin as well. It shifted through all the gears as we drove it through the back alley. the shift coupler is worn will need replaced (finding the gears was a challenge, but they are all there) The interior is mostly there and original and needs work as well.

Please keep in mind that this is an old vehicle in need of restoration. You can expect normal wear and tear such as... body damage, chips, dings, dents, fading, rust, dirt, rust holes, mechanical issues and anything else that comes with a 48 year old vehicle. You are buying a vehicle that needs restored.
