Rebuilt manual transmission. Rebuilt top end of motor. Well over $12,000 in repair receipts are included with the van. This van runs, drives, and looks exceptional.
*** I have all receipts (over $12,000) for work that has been listed below that will be included with the sale.

Motor & Transmission- Approx 26k miles on rebuilt top end. Approx 12k miles on rebuilt transmission. At the time of the transmission rebuild, the clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing were replaced. New ignition switch, starter, alternator, heater blower motor, idle control unit, muffler, lifters, push rod tubes, fuel lines, fan sender switch, idle air valve, water pump, battery. Brand new engine computer (ECM) from Go Westy ($500). The van runs excellent with plenty of power. The van has been meticulously serviced and maintained.
Paint & Body- Always garaged. This is a no stories original paint van. The paint over all is in exceptional original condition say for a minor few dings and scratches. The body has no rust or seam rust. New bumpers. New windshield.
Interior- The interior is in near mint original condition. Dual swivel seats. The dash is in perfect condtion. The seat upholstery shows very little to no wear and still looks new. The interior cabinetry is like new. Mint original carpets front and rear. The van just received a full professional interior and exterior detail.
Pop Top- The original pop top canvas is original and in good condition, although it does have some mildew stains.
Other- Brand new Go Westy wheel and tire package ($1300). Correct load rated Michelin tires (95% tread). New front and rear brakes, pads, shoes, and wheel cylinders. New Pioneer CD player w/ Ipod and MP3 hook up.
These low mile original paint survivors are becoming extremely hard to find. This is one of the best low mile original Vanagons on the market. This is a no story's original paint low mile survivor that has been well maintained and cared for its entire life. The van needs nothing and is ready for cross country driving or camping adventures. Regretfully selling as I purchased a Syncro Westfalia.
I will be happy to answer any questions over the phone, by email, or in person. Personal inspections of the van can be done before the auction ends. I can also store the van in my shop prior to shipping.
