Immaculate 1982 VW Diesel Rabbit Caddy Pickup. Recently installed 5-speed manual transmission upgrade from original 4-speed transmission, custom two-tone paint job with black details. 100K mile rated tires with good tread & w/warranty, new windshield installed with new rubber gasket, new rear tinted slider window installed with new rubber gasket, custom painted steel bumpers front/rear, new CV axle boots, new radiator with fan switch, new battery and stainless steel battery tray installed, new hoses/clamps throughout, new upgraded Viton fuel lines, custom removable wood storage/sleeping platform that fits in bed by sitting over wheel wells for camping/travel, comes with Yakima cross bars and wind fairing on cab and crossbars mounted on canopy (completely removable, not currently installed, in picture), comes with rare canopy which is difficult to find for these unibody trucks, also comes with extra set of wheels (with studded tires). I can't find the removable face to the current installed CD player, so sale includes a brand new Sony CD player in the box (pictured) that has a front USB direct connection for linking your phone for music, has 6.5" alpine 2-way speakers installed in doors. Gets 45-50 mpg! Maintained by VW Fine Tuning in Seattle, have all records/receipts that will be provided along with three service manuals, including the original (pictured). Runs excellent, recent oil change and have 1 extra Mann oil & Bosch fuel filters that will be included. The truck has been in heated storage for the last 5 years (I start it up weekly and take it for a short spin to keep it running smooth), used to be my daily driver- deserves that again. Rebuilt 1.6 liter diesel engine with approximately 75K miles, body has over 200K miles. New brakes. Rhino lined bed and Raptor Spray interior to prevent any rust- super clean! Has Collector's license plate in WA State, so no annual registration/tab renewals ever required! Over $15K invested.
