Another oval window Kafer has landed at MotoeXotica Classic Cars. We are happy to present this 1957 VW Beetle, the last year for oval window Beetles that have lately becoming increasingly more valuable and sought after from collectors.
This car has been restored to a glossy shine in its factory Pastel Green paint, which is in excellent condition, as is the original trim. The glass panes are clear and crack-free. The Hella headlights are in great shape, as are the rest of the car's lights.
This Bug rolls on new wide whitewall tires and factory moon wheel covers, which all look great. The Bug's body panels are in very good order and for extra storage; there is a metal rack atop the roof. The engine bay is in very tidy order and the bumpers with their bumper guard and tubular overrider bars look fantastic.
Under the rear bonnet is a upgraded 1600 cc single-port four-cylinder engine. This VW Beetle also has a synchronized four-speed manual transmission for better drivability.
Inside, is a light beige interior with matching oatmeal carpet, a light-colored mohair-style headliner. The front buckets and rear bench are in very good order, as are the carpet and headliner. The green metal instrument panel looks beautiful. The two-spoke steering wheel has been restored and all interior pieces have been painted to factory specifications. The door panels, mirror glass and shift lever are all in very good order. There is no radio in this vehicle.
This car is currently located at our facility in St. Louis, Missouri. Current mileage on the odometer shows 40,704 miles. It is sold as is, where is, on a clean and clear, exempt mileage Arizona title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
