'83 Volkswagen Vannagon with 2.5L Subaru Conversion

1983 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Westfalia

This van is in great condition! Within the past year the engine, cooling system, wheels, and brakes were all replaced. The engine is a 2.5L Subaru with less than 50k miles on the engine, and only 124k on the body! The cooling system is brand new and converted from the original air cooled to a water cooled system specifically for the Subaru conversion. The transmission was completely rebuilt as well. The wheels are larger than the original wheels so you can maintain higher speeds on the highway with lower RPMs, and new brakes bring her to a stop like a sports car. Unless facing a heavy grade I rarely every have to take it out of fourth once on the highway.
I have personally driven 6k miles on the new setup in the past 9 months and simply feel I don't have enough time to dedicate to such an amazing adventure vehicle!
