1976 Triumph TR-6 Project

You are bidding on a project / parts car that I have had in dry storage and no longer have that storage availible to me. I have to start getting rid of some cars that I just don't have the room for anymore.I purchased it 7 years ago and it has been off the road since 1987. it's build date is sept 1975 making it titled 1976. I have a clea, open title for it .Shows 78,537 miles . The guy I bought it from had owned it for years and it went to this condition and he figured he couldn't afford to get it back in good shape so sold it to me.Please read the description before bidding as I don't want anybody wanting to back out or have buyers remorse. Normally I'd part it out as it has lots of good part, well worth more the the cars value .Anything can be restored but I feel this ca, in my opinion has just too much rust in the body and frame + needing an interior puts it out of restorable reach. I saved it for parts if I needed them as it has:Sheet metal wise a good right side fender, and door. The hood and trunk lid are very good as well. The left side fenders and door as well as the rear upper body panel have rust. The frame has the normal rear trailing are rust that all TR6's are doomed to get and the center brace is pulled partially away from the frame. The floor has rus, mostly in the front footwells. The car has a nice factory luggage rack with some pitting on the 4 end caps.It has a good original Triplex windshieldThe seats are sagged out and the drivers seat has a hole in it. Carpet is goneThe radiator is loos, just sitting in the car and the fan blade is loos, missing a mounting boltThe engine turns over and has a factory air pump and air rail still on it. The carbs and air filter are off and in the trunk. The exhaust is shot and really not there.non over drive trans. Rear is in the carI pulled the rear brake drums and front pads on1 side to make it rollThe top frame is goo, just needs a bit of penetrating oil to loosen it up more as it has been folded down for yearsThe Snug top hard top is in very good condition. These were a very good qualit, American made (made in California) hardtop.. I used to sell these hard tops all the time when the cars were being driven as daily drivers. Very heavy duty fiberglass with glass windows and the top surface looks like leather grain finish. The lower seal is torn away on 1 side but there and can be glued back on. This top is worth more than the starting price of the car. I'd sell it by itself but have no way to ship it so it goes with the car.Comes with extra wheels and tires .It has some factory trim rings but most have some scuffingPLEASE AS QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING.The starting price is less than I paid for it and there is no reserve.A $200.00 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS DUE WITHIN 3 DAYS FROM THE END OF THE AUCTION WITH THE BALANCE DUE IN CASH ON PICK UP.
