Description:

1981 Triumph TR8 Does not apply

This is very historic car. See the book Orginal Triumph TR7 & TR8 book, ISBN-10: ‎ 0760309728, hand built by British Leyland management. The car was shipped to Los Angeles, original owner sold shortly to an US Air Force officer who had a the car for many years until I had it professional restored in 2009, frame on refresh, repainted with original color and chemistry. Been garage and covered if outside, lightly driven. I was able to also pair an original rollbar into the car. It runs very strong, dependable. Parts are readily available from Moss, Rimmer Brothers, The Wedge Shop and many in common with TR7 and Rovers. Being the English Corvette, it's very advanced for its time, with computer control fuel injection. Great modern, but retro looking, stereo radio system.

I restored TR6s for years. I hoping to find a Triumph collector with time to truly enjoy this great example of yesteryear.

VIN # TPVDV8BT402017 The car was produced before the cars from Europe had to comply with the new 1981, really 1982, 17 digit VIN number US requirement. Clean New Jersey title with the orginal 14 digit VIN number.
