Vehicle Details

Beautifully restored 1973 Triumph TR-6 in its original Emerald Green color and black vinyl interior. Recent 5-speed conversion utilizing a Moss Motors conversion kit and a rebuilt Toyota Celica transmission purchased from a Moss approved supplier. Conversion included new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, and hydraulic throw out bearing upgrade. The frame is solid. The frame, floors, and underside body surfaces have been undercoated for all season driving if desired. Professional restoration work to include: Paint and body work, engine rebuild, carburetor rebuilds, complete ignition system rebuild, steering rack and linkage rebuild, chrome exhaust headers and Monza quad exhaust resonators. Wheels were sanded and painted before adding new center caps, trim rings, and OEM sized Michelin red line tires with 2019 date codes sourced from Coker Tire. Professional interior restoration to include: floor panels, dash panel, instrument rebuilds, seat rebuilds, new carpet, and door panels. Further interior upgrades to include: retractable shoulder harnesses, center armrest with storage, wood steering wheel, shift knob, retro style digital radio, new sill plates and branded floor mats. Professionally installed convertible top that was new in the box when I purchased the car. Top boot is in good condition. Mechanical restoration work to include: rebuild front suspension including springs, bushings, tie rod ends and boots, upper ball joints and lower trunnions, new sway bar, links and bushings. New brake calipers, pads, rotors, wheel bearings, lines, and new servo and reservoir assembly. Rear suspension rebuild and modifications including: new rear bushings, brake cylinders, shoes, drums, assorted lines and hardware. Suspension modifications to include: new heavy duty bearing hubs and camber adjustment brackets both supplied by Good Parts, a well respected source for upgraded Triumph parts. Lever action oil shocks converted to standard shock absorbers. New differential mounts. Assorted new u-joints installed as necessary during transmission conversion. New aluminum radiator, water pump, thermostat, hoses, alternator, belt, valve cover and gasket. Recent valve adjustment. Additional Comments - The paint has a deep rich shine and looks like professional work. The engine runs great with no oil consumption or bad noises. The points, condenser, plugs, wires, cap and rotor only have a few hundred miles on them. The distributor timing advance mechanism works properly. This 5-speed conversion adds an overdrive gear that these cars really need. This installation also adds a hydraulic throw out bearing to eliminate common problems with the original mechanical system. All with the reliability of a Toyota transmission. The rear camber adjusters are very nice. With the turn of an adjuster screw, you can change the rear camber and eliminate the rear end “sag” that you sometimes see with these cars. The car does not overheat or even run hot. The temperature gage hardly moves once warmed up. All the other gages work. Heat, defrost and cabin fan all work properly. The radio works. I have MULTIPLE VIDEOS AVAILABLE including: Cold start/choke operation, walk around, lights and switches, underside/frame, and driving. All fluids and filters from the radiator to the differential have been renewed. This car is ready to be driven and enjoyed! MARK - (231) 670-7299.
