This 1988 Toyota 4Runner is a remarkable vehicle that has been maintained in its original condition. The owner has taken great care of it for the last five years, and it has served as a fun weekend driver. Currently only third owner. 2nd owner owned from 45,000 miles and used 4Runner as a highway driver for long distance jobs. Vehicle was maintained by certified mechanics. The 4Runner has always been a North Carolina vehicle. Currently with remanufactured 22re with less that 5000 miles. The 5 speed transmission pulls well through all gears with a new clutch. 4 wheel drive chassis functions properly. Truck has never been taken off road. Vehicle Details

The remanufactured engine has less than 5000 miles. New clutch, master and slave cylinders, alternator, power steering pump and lines, steering box, radiator, coolant lines, exhaust manifold with muffler and all exhaust pipes, battery, and front brake work all done within recent ownership. Original hard top, in good condition, included. All glass on hard top is in good shape with no cracks. Back window works (power up/down). Original interior in excellent shape. New SoftTopper soft top that turns 4Runner into a safari truck and looks amazing.

Absolute beauty that always turns heads, can be driven daily, and has been taken to multiple car shows.

A minor accident (animal) in 2013 caused insurance to claim rebuilt title because of mileage. The 4runner has never been in a major accident and has a straight frame.
