Vehicle is known around the world as a HILUX but in the USA as a 3rd Generation Toyota 4x4 Pickup which was produced from 1989 to 1995.
Torquey 3.0L V6 engine has fresh tune up with all new ignition components, new timing belt, tensioner, water pump, valve cover gaskets plus new fluids in every case. Passed AZ emissions inspection 8/15/23. Starts every time with a turn of the key and runs like a sewing machine. Stays cool with absolutely no leaks, no knocks, no smoke, and no issues. A340H 4 speed automatic transmission shifts perfectly smooth and concise as designed with fresh filter and fluid service. There's no slop in the shifter handle. There's no leaks in the case. Ask any trans builder and they will confirm these A340 are probably the most reliable automatics ever engineered.
4x4 engages smooth and easy with factory reliable 2 speed transfer case with fresh gear oil and manual lockout hubs.
Interior is super clean. No rips or stains on the upholstery. The AC blows ice cold and has been professionally converted to the modern 134A freon. The SR5 gauge cluster features a tachometer, oil pressure gauge, plus water temp and voltimeter. Everything works as designed. The Pioneer radio deck sports four 6x9 speakers mounted under the fold down rear jump seats. Triangular vent windows are a nice rare feature on this body style. There's a digital clock on the dash, a tilt wheel column, and a moon roof with power door locks.
Rides tight like a new truck with new shocks & brakes and on all 4 corners. No rattles, clunks or squeaks on bumpy roads. Toyota trucks feel tight for so long because they're the only manufacturer that uses fine thread machine bolts on every single fastener.
