This is by far the nicest and most rust-free FJ55 I've ever owned. 88K original miles on ORIGINAL BODY. Super rare RHD version from Australia (has clean US title). Older gentleman owned it in CT for over 20 years. Always kept indoors other than the occasional cruiser night or local car show.
Older restoration on a super solid and straight truck. Paint and body are VERY NICE, showing some small imperfections as it's not new anymore. Cleans up very well.
Under the hood is the original Inline 6 Cylinder 2F Engine with 4 speed manual transmission. Recently had NEW carburetor, NEW fuel pump, NEW tune-up, NEWLY flushed fuel tank and a few other minor mechanical upkeeps. Runs/drives/steers/stops well.
Interior is very nice as you can see, no real eye sores. Excellent recovered seats. Rubber floor mat, nice headliner, nice dash pad.
Underside is VERY NICE with EXCELLENT frame and floorboards. Again, these things are usually rusted to death like any other older truck. This one is well above the average to say the least. FIND ANOTHER ONE WITH NO RUST
There are only about a dozen or so of these for sale at any given time around the country, so VERY HARD TO FIND, especially NOT rusted to death. It is NOT perfect of course, but by far the nicest I've owned that I didn't have to mortgage my house to buy. Please LOOK AT THE VIDEO.
