Thank you for viewing my listing on my 1993 Toyota Pickup. This is a mechanically sound example with just under 43k miles on the odometer. I have owned this vehicle for just over a year and performed all of the above maintenance using OEM Toyota quality parts and fluids. This vehicle was originally owned by someone who used it as a part time vehicle for a mostly local commute hence the low mileage. The Truck overall looks good for a 30 year old truck but does have some dings and dents acquired over the years. It would benefit from some paint-less dent removal as many of the dents/dings are soft type of dents without paint damage.
This truck starts, runs, and drives excellent with power provided by the 3vze v6 engine. It shifts smoothly through the gears with no grinds or hesitation. The 4x4 transfer case with auto locking front hubs works perfect and smooth. Traction in 4x4 is fantastic. This truck had the clutch replaced as occasionally in 4th gear it would slip a little. I chose to remove the transmission and replace with all oem clutch disc, pressure plate, new flywheel, new flywheel bolts, clutch slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder, new clutch line, and new shifter seals and bushings. At that time the rear main engine seal was replaced while the transmission was out (was not leaking). The brake rotors and rear drums are new, new wheel cylinders were installed along with new front calipers and brake hoses. The truck stops very well without any vibration or pulling. The e-brake assembly was also cleaned and lubricated and works as it should. New tires were added along with new shocks, sway bar bushings, and sway bar end links. The truck drives very smooth and comfortably.
The exterior of the truck is original paint with original decals on the sides, the rear tailgate was repainted however and new decals were installed. There are various dings and dents on primarily the passenger side of the truck, they didn't bother me enough to fix but paint-less dent told me they were confident they could get 90% of them out. There is a golf ball sized dent on the driver rear roll pan to note. The trucks underside is pretty clean, there is no rot in the bed or body but some minor rust above the exhaust tip and some small bubbles starting right above the tires. Nothing substantial. The rocker panels are 100% solid no rust or rot. The soft metal parts like the diff covers, driveshaft, and hardware have surface rust but nothing unusual. This is a great truck for someone not looking for a museum piece but something they will actually use and drive. Note the rear passenger mud flap is missing, I have ordered a new one, the plastic on the original was tearing so I removed it.
The interior is in really nice condition overall. The seats and carpets are clean with only some heel wear on the drivers floor mat and some of the vinyl material cracking on the drivers side from getting in and out. The seats themselves are stain free and the rear jumper seats look brand new. The interior has no weird smells or odors and really is in great shape. All of the electronics, switches, radio, heat, fan, a/c, wipers work and function correctly. The door cards are in very good shape overall. The glass throughout the truck is clean and in good shape without any notable chips or scratches.
Overall you are looking at a well maintained mechanically and structurally sound 1993 Toyota Pickup with low mileage.
