1993 Toyota MR2 SPORT ROOF

My 1993 Toyota MR2 Turbo (An original turbo car) Is up for sale. Very rare! 1742 MR2s were made for the US and Canada in 93. Only a third of them were turbo cars and less than a hundred were made in this spec! I do not want to sell this car, but I need garage space. Dont let the miles steer you away! Everything on this car has been replaced or rebuilt! All new OEM ball joints and tie rods. New springs and strut inserts. New wheels and tires (less than a few hundred miles on them!) New brake pads and rotors with freshly rebuilt calipiers. The 3SGTE engine was rebuilt about 6 Years ago by Mike from Mikes Garage ( An MR2 specialist with 28 years experience) Check my Youtube Channel for videos featuring this car.( https://www.youtube.com/user/gehringer37/videos ) The engine has been rebuilt with all Toyota internals and all OEM parts... with exception of the Wiseco forged pistons and the Cometic steel head gasket. And trust me...These are upgrades that you do want!!! :) The motor has less than 5000 miles on it. It runs amazing! (The engine pulls 20 pounds of vacuum warm) The externals of the engine are all stock with the exception of KnN Air filter, Stainless steel exhaust,( the silencers can be easily removed from exhaust tips..2 bolts) and boost controler set to 15 PSI ( very safe) New Spec clutch with less than 500 miles on it. Has a close to stock pedal feel. The clutch feels awesome! Transmission shifts smooth in all gears. The engine and trans are coated to stop rust. I used a combination of powder coating, Base coat clear coat, and bed liner to protect everything from rust. (See engine bay pics). Same with all the suspension parts...They are all coated to prevent rust. There is NO rust on this car at all nor has there ever been any rust on the body panels or the undercarriage. Its extremely clean! All original sheet metal including the rocker panels! The car has hydraulic prop rods for the frunk and engine lid. Trunk has LED lighting. The interior has some custom aluminum trim peices that I made... that I think look great...but I will include the stock peices with the car as well. Has 18inch Kudo Racing wheels with new Federal 595 super street tires. The car does have a limited slip differential. The car has 94/95 tail lights. Even with all the upgrades mentioned this car can easily be taken back to stock form over a weekend! This car sat in a heated garage for years only taken out on nice summer weekend days. It has never seen rain or snow. All original paint with the exception of the engine lid and wing. The car does have an alarm with keyless entry and comes with 2 key fobs. And it does have the original tan T Top shades...very rare. I do have the original 93 Turbo wheels for the car but that would have to be a seperate deal from the car itself. The car does need an AC compressor ( I never put it back on when I did the engine rebuild).And the driver side seat needs a proper leather cover! I recommend MR2 Heaven... they have driver and passenger tan leather replacement covers for around 300 bucks for the pair.The car has 3 VERY small minor dings that the camera really cant catch. 1 on the drivers door, 2 on the passenger door. Nothing a PDR guy couldn't get out very easily!Other than that... These cars have doubled in value over the last 5 years and this is one of the cleanest MR2 Turbos out there!!!
