Welcome to my listing for my extremely rare & highly sought after Toyota HiLux Surf SSR-X with the incredibly tough & durable 3.0 turbo diesel engine (code 1KZ) and in factory RIGHT HAND DRIVE. This JDM example is completely unmodified, even down to its original factory Toyota floor mats. These Toyotas share most of their mechanical components with the Toyota Landcruiser. A vehicle very well known as being one of the toughest and most durable vehicles ever produced. Built in an era when vehicles were built to last. This Toyota is an absolute testament to that. This was originally a JDM (Japanese domestic market) vehicle. However, it can now be legally imported into the USA as it is over 25 years old. I have a great deal of experience in importing vehicles into the USA and I have INCLUDED the cost of shipping the Toyota to most east coast ports. I can also ship to the west coast, although there will be an extra cost for this. I’m more than happy to quote for this cost if you wish. It’s an extremely simple process & I will assist you throughout the entire process.
This is a rare opportunity to purchase this stunning, high spec’d Toyota HiLux Surf SSR-X 3.0 turbo diesel with very low mileage & in arguably one of the best color schemes & in exceptional condition throughout.
The Toyota is completely rock solid & rust free. The body is free of corrosion and the underside is in incredibly good order. It has just undergone a thorough clean, rust inhibitor treatment & a very expensive underseal treatment to protect it for many more years to come. The engine starts on the very first turn of the key, & runs, drives & pulls exactly as it should. It steers straight & true. The brakes pull the Toyota to a clean stop exactly as it should. There are no knocks or rattles from the suspension and all feels incredibly tight. It has just had a service carried out which included engine oil, oil filter, air filter &diesel fuel filter. Along with all other fluid level checked & topped up if necessary.
This Toyota is fitted from the factory with the winter start pack, which consists of duel 12 volt batteries, wired in parallel. I have noticed that the batteries may be dropping voltage over a period of time & are quite possibly due to be replaced. Therefore both batteries WILL BE REPLACED with new premium heavy dutyYuasa batteries.
The wheels were slightly dull so all 4 wheels have been professionally stripped, dipped & powered coated. The original Toyota alloy wheels are wrapped in matching tyres all round & have approximately 60 - 70% tread remaining.
Along with the usual spec of power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power sunroof, it also has ADAPTIVE DAMPERS!!! Incredible to think this was even an option in 1994 and they function perfectly, allowing to change the stiffness of the suspension from soft to firm.
The body presents beautifully and the paint has a great deep lustre & shine. However, the paint on the roof has suffered from sun fade. This is above most people’s eyeline & isn’t noticeable. The interior is in exceptional condition & free from any odours.
Just to re-cap. The cost of shipping to most US east coast ports is INCLUDED in the purchase price & west coast shipping is available at extra cost.
