Thank you for looking at my listing for this extremely desirable classic 4x4 and pretty much the highest spec’d Toyota Hilux Surf SSR-X KZN-130 with the AWESOME 3.0 turbo diesel engine (code 1KZ) factory RIGHT HAND DRIVE. These Toyota’s share most of their mechanical items with the Toyota Landcruiser, a vehicle known very well as being one of the toughest & most durable vehicles ever produced. Built in an era when vehicles were built to last. This Toyota is a testament to that. This was originally a JDM (Japanese domestic market) vehicle. However, it can now be legally imported into the US as it is over 25 years old. I have a great deal of experience in importing vehicles to the USA and I have INCLUDED the cost of shipping the Toyota to most East Coast ports. I can also ship to the West Coast although there will be a extra cost for this. I’m more than happy to quote for this cost if you wish. It’s an extremely simple process & I will assist you throughout the entire process.
This is a rare opportunity to purchase this stunning, high spec’d Toyota Hilux Surf SSR-X 3.0 diesel with very low mileage, with blue paintwork & in fantastic condition throughout.
The Toyota is completely rock solid & rust free. The body has no rust issues & the underside is absolutely fantastic. It has just undergone a thorough clean, rust inhibitor treatment & very expensive under seal to protect it for many more years to come. The engine starts on the first turn of the key, and runs, drives & pulls exactly as it’s supposed to. The gearbox is smooth, responsive ands shifts exactly as it should. It steers straight & true. The brakes pull the Toyota to a stop exactly as they’re supposed to. There are no knocks or rattles from the suspension. It has just had a service carried out which included the engine oil, oil filter, diesel fuel filter & air filter and is ready to go! The wheels have just been sent away to be professionally refurbished (fully stripped & power coated) as they the lacquer had started to age. The tires have approximately over 50% tread remaining all round.
This Toyota has a very high specification, to include : power locks, power windows all round, air conditioning (not tested & I presume it may need servicing & re-gassing), power sunroof, and the extremely sought after adaptive suspension / dampers which are in great working order!
It also benefits from having a stainless steel exhaust fitted (rear section). Although this is of a larger bore, and may not be to everyone’s taste. However, it doesn’t drone & actually makes a great purposeful sound! However, this could be very easily swapped out for a standard rear section should you wish to do so.
The body presents very well & the paint has a great shine, although the paint on the roof had suffered sun fade. The interior is in exceptional condition throughout & is free from any odours.
The negatives. Overall it really is in great shape, however the paint on the roof has suffered sun fade. Although this is out of most people’s eye line. I’m more than happy to have this re-painted for you, if you wish at additional cost, although you may wish to either leave it as is, or perhaps have someone local to you re-paint it.
