1993 Toyota 4Runner

Thank you for looking at my listing for this extremely desirable and very well spec’d Toyota Hilux Surf SSR-G in factory RIGHT HAND DRIVE. These Toyota’s share most of their mechanical items with the Toyota Landcruiser, a vehicle known very well as being one of the toughest & most durable vehicles ever produced. Built in an era when vehicles were built to last. This Toyota is a testament to that. This was originally a JDM (Japanese domestic market) vehicle. However, it can now be legally imported into the US as it is over 25 years old. I have a great deal of experience in importing vehicles to the USA and I have INCLUDED the cost of shipping the Toyota to most East Coast ports. I can also ship to the West Coast although there will be a extra cost for this. I’m more than happy to quote for this cost if you wish. It’s an extremely simple process & I will assist you throughout the entire process.
This is a great opportunity to purchase this fantastic Toyota at a lower price than I would ordinarily sell it for as it does require a few minor items addressing & we simply do not have the time to make this Toyota perfect. Having said that, it is completely usable as is if you wish.
Firstly, let’s start off with the positives. The Toyota is completely rock solid & rust free. The body has no rust issues & the underside is absolutely fantastic. It has just undergone a thorough clean, rust inhibitor treatment & very expensive under seal to protect it for many more years to come. The engine starts first time, runs, drives & pulls exactly as it’s supposed to. The gearbox is smooth, responsive ands shifts exactly as it’s supposed to. The suspension and brakes are in good order with no knocks. The axles are quiet & operating as they should. The interior is exceptionally clean & free or any nasty odours. The wheels are clean with a good set of matching tyres all round with over 70% tread life remaining.
This Toyota has a very high specification, to include : power locks, power windows all round, power sunshine roof, air conditioning (needs attention), adaptive dampers / adjustable suspension allowing firm or soft ride from simply flicking a switch on the dash.
Ok, so the negatives : the lacquer on the paint work has started to lift & peel along 3 panels on the drivers side (drivers door, rear passenger door & rear quarter). It still looks presentable & is useable ‘as is’ but isn’t perfect. Next, the air conditioning has been removed by the previous owner so if you wish to have AC, you would need to locate the parts & have this reinstated. Or, you could simply put the windows down & open the sunroof! The small fender mounted mirror has lost its backing cover, however I will endeavour to locate one & include with the sale, although you may need to paint it & fit it. The rear window isn’t currently operating. It could simply be a switch or it may require a new electric motor.
So to summarise the negatives : 3 panels lacquer peeling, AC requires work, small fender mirror, rear window motor or switch.
This Toyota would usually sell for around $12k - $14k if these minor issues were addressed. I’m asking a VERY reasonable $8000 which INCLUDES shipping to most east coast ports.
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Many thanks & thanks again for looking.
