Here we have a 1980 Toyota HJ45. This truck was fully rebuilt having a full frame off restoration done. Worked for many months and built to lastanother 50 years this beautiful HJ45 was painted in one of the most beautiful colors a cruiser can have, painted red mated with traditional black leather. It is powered by Toyotas H engine. It is a 3.6 liter with adisplacement of 3,576cc inline 6. It is fueled by diesel with anaverage MPG of 30 miles to the gallon. This truck has the 4 speed manual transmission used until it was changed to the 5 speed in 1985 with thenewer 70 series trucks. Even though it is not a newer classic, it still is the best old classic and legendary of all cruisers being part of the 40 series line; Toyotas best series ever. The HJ45 is not just part of the 40 series family but also one of the most look after series. Hard to find, and becoming harderespecially one fully restored having still Toyotas originaldrivetrain.
