1985 Toyota Celica GTS

Must sell this Classic 1985 Toyota Celica GTS Hatchback. This car had 1 original owner until 2007 who kept meticulous records in a log book found inside the glove box. This car uses Mobil 1 synthetic (which I attribute to its strong motor) and I only run mid-grade gasoline. We purchased 5 years ago, and have replaced:
1) All belts2) Installed Kenwood Digital AM/FM/CD/Satellite Ready Receiver & new speakers3) Newer BF Goodrich raised white letter Radial TA tires (75% tread remaining)4) AC Compressor & All Related Parts (2016)5) Valve Cover Gasket (2014)6) New Rotors & Brakes (2016)7) Alternator (Has been replaced every year; however, it has usually been because the car sits when it rains due to muddy road)8) New $2,000 Paint in December 2016
No dings/dents/scratches. No cracks in windshield. Original spare & jack. Trunk area looks like it just came out of a time warp. Carpet is not faded or stained. Motor is strong and I would drive this car across country tomorrow and only check my vital fluid levels before leaving. This is one of those cars that is somewhat slow off the line, but kicks in at about 40mph and will just flat out GO!
209,000 miles and going up. I was told that this car had a rebuilt engine, but I have no documentation/ proof of that.
The bad (which isn't so bad):
Driver side seat belt is loose (won't catch) but useable.Cruise control doesn't work (I don't think it is hooked up, which tells me this may be a rebuilt motor)Power mirrors don't work. There is very small stain in rear back seat from some spilled chili. I regret that day.The exterior window trim is taking turns coming unattached from the chrome trim beneath. There are no replacements to be found anywhere, but the chrome looks good too.Once in a while the thermostat acts up, this just started and I think it just needs replacing. Radiator levels are fine. This car will burn a little oil. I top it off every month and it's about 1/4 quart low. If it sits for an extended period of time (1 week or better), it may/may not hiccup a little smoke briefly.
As of today, it has been sitting for almost 3 weeks and power steering is a bit stiff but loosens up as it is driven. Keep this in mind when bidding.
This would be a great little car for a person who appreciates the classics. It is fun to drive, it doesn't pull, sway, and steering is tight as a tick. It does not drive at all like a 33 year old car. Because of the size of the tires (which are manufacturer recommended size), it will pull into truck ruts on the road.
I would keep the car myself, but I have no garage, live near salt water and down a long dirty, dusty road. It needs an owner who can care for the car, as it has much life left.
A $500 deposit will be required to hold, as this vehicle is also listed locally. Full payment & pickup of vehicle due within 3 days.
